This web site is for medical staff who volunteer or wish to volunteer to cover British Superbike racing events.
The team also covers the British Silverstone round of World Superbikes at Silverstone and the British round of MotoGP. Training, reflective practice and the opportunity for debriefings are arranged through members of the team.
If you are interested in joining, have a look around the web site, particularly the Frequently Asked Questions section. If you would then like to come along to observe and learn more, then check the dates on the left, decide when you'd like to attend and contact the coordinator. We can only accept applications from doctors and paramedics at present. We suggest that you attend for more than one day of a round with camping overnight if you wish.
Please be aware that observers are treated as members of the team, being allowed to go out on track, observe in the medical centre and given lunch. They are expected to attend at the same times as the rest of the team. We are not able to accomodate late arrivals, early departures and requests for help with travel arrangements. Observers do not get expenses or any other payment. They are given a ticket for entry but guest tickets are not available for observers. Entry to the team is by invitation and not automatic following a period of observation.
Physiotherapists, nurses and radiographers are welcome to come and observe for a day but there is no space on the team for these specialities at present.
We look forward to seeing you.
